This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Japanese Navy battleship Yamato, which was completed in December 1941, equipped with nine powerful 46cm guns with a standard displacement of 64,000 tons and a maximum range of 41km, and introduced many innovative shipbuilding technologies and production management methods. It is modeled based on the latest materials in its final form as it headed for Okinawa. The massive hull has a realistic reproduction of the bow flare and the armor belt on the sides. The main gun turret is set with each barrel as a separate part. The armament such as the 15.5cm secondary gun, 12.7cm high-angle gun, and anti-aircraft machine guns reinforced to prepare for increasingly fierce air attacks, as well as the delicately finished parts such as the rangefinder, direction finder, and jib crane tighten up the Yamato's fearless style.
