🌱Origin of name :
The word “Khiri” is chosen to represent our black tea. It is inspired by the name “Santikhiri” which means a peaceful and beautiful mountain. It is the former name of Maesalong mountain where our tea plants are grown.
🌱Details of tea :
Our meticulous production starts from freshly picking young tea leaves (only selecting the one tip with two leaves), withering for 10-12 hours, rolling tenderly, oxidizing at the right conditions, and drying at a specific temperature until reaches the desired aroma. Therefore, resulting in distinguish characteristics which when you take a sip you will be
- Firstly tempted by its deep ruby red color.
- Then, experiencing a soft, smooth, and mellow taste.
- Yet, feeling warm and comforted by its sweetness of a peach and a mild honey aroma.
🌱Concept of the product:
-To represent our ancestor's passed down folk wisdom one of a kind black tea which is only produced once a year during Nov-Dec.
- Its uniqueness comes from having grown our tea plants at the highland of 1,200 m above sea level in Santikhiri Village, located in Chiangrai which is Thailand's most grown Camellia sinensis province, along with the combination of our specialty and meticulous process.
