The concept for designing a magnetic refrigerator set featuring marine animals stems from the observation that sea creatures can no longer swim freely and safely in the vast ocean. This is due to the various types of waste and discarded fishing gear that harm and kill marine life through entanglement and ingestion. Therefore, we take ghost nets from the ocean, recycle them, and produce these magnets to raise awareness every time they are used and seen. This serves as a reminder that we are contributing to the preservation of life in the sea and our planet.
