Taikyoku is a well-balanced flavor and bitterness that Hekisuien is proud of. It is a matcha that we recommend for those who are drinking matcha for the first time.
松の翠(MATSU NO MIDORI)
Matsu no Midori is a matcha with a good balance of umami and bitterness. (Compared to Daikyoku, the umami is slightly weaker and the bitterness is slightly stronger.)
It is a particularly popular product as a matcha for thin tea.
金の渦(KIN NO UZU)
This matcha has a light taste and a subtle aroma.
初昔(HATSU MUKASHI)
Hatsu-mukashi is a matcha that is easy to use and is suitable for thin tea. It has a light texture and aroma, and a relatively refreshing taste.
[What is matcha?] By covering the trees and not exposing them to direct sunlight, the tea leaves become a deep green color with a strong flavor. The tea leaves are dried without rolling and ground in a stone mill to become matcha.
[How to make] <For thin tea> 60ml of hot water (about 80℃) for about 2g of matcha. *If you sift it first, it will be easier to make and less likely to form lumps. <For casual thin tea that is less likely to form lumps> Add about 10ml of water to about 2g of matcha and mix with a tea whisk to make a paste, then add about 50ml of 80℃ hot water and mix with a tea whisk until it becomes foamy.
