Why choose diamond instead of whetstone? Diamonds can sharpen the hardest steels, including super steels like CPM series, M390, and Elmax. Unlike conventional whetstones, diamond sharpening plates maintain a flat surface, eliminating the need for flattening, and they require no water, making them more efficient and stable for sharpening.
Double-sided design with 325 grit (45 microns) / 1000 grit (15 microns). The coarse 325 grit (45μm) revives dull blades, while the fine 1000 grit (15μm) finishes them to razor-sharpness. One plate caters to both sharpening and finishing.
Excellent results with a wide sharpening surface. The large size of 8 inches x 3 inches (201mm x 75mm) enhances stability and facilitates angle control. It accommodates larger tools and allows for quick, precise sharpening.
Durable single-crystal diamond. With high structural strength and fracture resistance, it delivers sustained and stable performance even under strong sharpening pressure.
Advanced electroplating technology for long life. The triple electroplating process secures the diamond particles firmly and precisely controls the uniform protrusion amount, maintaining a long and sharp cutting surface.
Precision guaranteed by MirrorFlat technology. The MirrorFlat technology finishes to a flatness of ±0.002 inches (0.05mm), ensuring uniform contact of the edge for accurate edge geometry and stable sharpening results.
