Our Hojicha is crafted from the sencha and stems from Uji, Kyoto. Roasted to a medium level at a balanced temperature, it preserves the natural umami while deepening the flavor’s complexity. Each batch is stone-ground using a traditional Japanese mortar into an ultra-fine powder. The result is a smooth, well rounded cup with a gentle roasted aroma that is pleasantly balanced.
To keep the quality of the hojicha, please store it in the refrigerator. For occasional use, you may store it in the freezer :)
