โคลเวอร์ช่วยลดการกร่อนของดิน เเละคลุมหน้าดินป้องกันจากแสงแดด ทำให้หน้าดินไม่เเห้ง เเข็ง กรอบ เเละทำหน้าที่ตรึงไนโตรเจนจากอากาศ ทำให้จุลินทรีย์ในดินเยอะขึ้นเพราะต้นไม้ปล่อยน้ำตาลออกจากราก โคลเวอร์ไม่จำเป็นต้องใส่ปุ่ยเพิ่ม เเละจะปล่อยไนโตรเจนที่สะสมตอนย่อยสลาย

Clovers reduce soil erosion and help maintain topsoil moisture so the topsoil wouldn't dry out and hardens. Increases microbial life in the soil because living plant release exudates from the roots. It is also a nitrogen fixing plant, taking nitrogen from the air. Doesn't need additional fertilizer to grow, and it will release nitrogen when it decomposes.
